Our Wharf

Fifield Lobster Co, now known as Fifield Fisheries, has been a fixture on the south side of Burnt Cove in Stonington for over 85 years. Started by Tilden Fifield in 1940, it's now in its fourth generation of family ownership. Generations of summer residents and tourists have had a connection to our wharf, and we love seeing those people come back every year. Summer folks have always known the lobster-buying routine, but it isn't obvious to first-time visitors or day-trippers — it takes a little while to see how it all works and to know a guy. With that in mind, we created the Lobstr Crate in 2026.

Our online shop aims to streamline the dock sales process with simple lobster and crab options, easy payment, and dockside pickup. We wanted to make it easy for new cook-at-home lobster buyers to get the freshest product. Away from here, people are already used to ordering online, and curb-side pickup, and we wanted to embrace that. 

We can take orders for same-day pickup before noon, or schedule up to 7 days in advance for afternoon pickup. Thanks for checking us out!
